My name is Hayden Oliver. I am a senior MIS major from Sardis, GA. If you don’t know where that is, don’t worry, nobody has. Its about an south of Augusta for those that are wondering. In fact, my town is so remote I had to drive an hour just to get to the nearest Waffle House. Growing up, I had a lot of interests, but the one that overshadowed them all was football, which I played from the time i was 8 until I was 18. As much as I loved football though, it didn’t love me, but that’s another story. I performed in theater which I was actually really good at. My favorite aspects of MIS is database creation and management and web development. My least favorite is the mononony of coding, while it is fun looking at the fruits of my labor I have to admit it can be boring at times.
The people that know me know I am a chatterbox that is willing to talk about anything. My favorite topics, however, are roller coasters and Jesus. Many also know me for my skills in the kitchen, affectionally referring to me as ‘Chef Hayden’. After my time in college I plan on either going into consulting or pursuing a career in ministry, whatever The Lord has in store for me.
